Texas Barbeque Sauce

​2 cups ketchup
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 small onion, grated
1/4 cup sweet butter
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons granulated garlic
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cayenne
1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1 small bay leaf

Bring all ingredients to a boil in a large saucepan, stirring occasionally. Remove and discard bay leaf.

Yield:  3 cups
